He who does not allocate time for physical activity, must sooner or later allocate time for illness.

— Edward Stanley (1826-1893)

CardiMo helps companies to take responsibility, and to encourage the individual to reach their personal goals.

The service

CardiMo is a business service where pulse based training is connected to an incentive / bonus of your choice for individuals or a group. This grants the collaborators the freedom to choose a type of exercise that fits them the best, based on interest, which increases motivation. CardiMo is a system for the employer who prioritizes his employees health, economy and productivity, both long term and short term. The incentive / bonus will be tailored to fit your needs. There are many possibilities. Contact us and we'll tell you more.

Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor.

— Alexis Carrel (1873-1944)

Why pulse-training?

As a result of a decline in public health, and politicians wanting companies to take a bigger responsibility for the costs, companies need to encourage their employees to stay active and healthy. We think that pulse based training is the best solution to this.

With continuous exercise, the risk of physical and mental illness decreases.

Increased productivity

You can expect and increase by 10-30%, compared to an unfit person.

More energy, less diseases.

Exercise brings a stronger heart, more energy, increased blood flow and fat burn, an improved quality of life and much, much more.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water.

— Bruce Lee (1940-1973)

Here are som recommendations regarding physical activity for public health, published in "Läkartidningen". Below you'll find excerpts of the article.

Examples of physical activity that represents the lowest recommended dose with varying intensity, duration and frequency that all represent a single entity (energyconsumption).

Moderate intensity: 30 minutes × 5 days = 150 minutes per week or 50 minutes × 3 days = 150 minutes per week. Thus the previous statement remains »30 minutes during most of the days in a week« even within the new recommendations.

High intensity: 25 minutes × 3 days = 75 minutes per week or 15 minutes × 5 days = 75 minutes.

Note that the physical activity should be spread out to atleast 3 days a week, and that you can also vary between moderate and high intensity exercise throughout the week.

We would like to highlight parts of an article by "Läkartidningen" regarding FYSS:

That the human is built for movement, and that physical activity assures health and well being, becomes all the more clear in a vast array of studies. Continuous physical activity over weeks and months affects heart, blood vessels, skeletal muscles, immune system, brain and other organs. In various manners this contributes to improved quality of life, cognition, mood and physical capacity. People with continuous physical acitivity runs a lower risk of developing for example diabetes type 2, obesity, cardiovascular diesease, dementia, some forms of cancer and preemptive death regardless of reason. Interestingly, occasional training sessions can have a measureable effect on blood pressure and blood sugar control.

CardiMo's History

MGNT 4 HIRE was the consulting agency that started in 2010, before that, experiences from both small but mostly large companies have been built up in various leading positions. When MGNT 4 HIRE was faced with the challenge of hiring additional staff, something was missing in order to make them stand out. The nature and being outdoors in combination with exercise and challenge under monitoring and feedback, were factors that they wished to combine. CardiMo was the result, and all of the staff have now had this setup in their employment contracts. However, this went under the name of "MotionsMotivator", which finally, after a lot of thought and discussions with loved ones became CardiMo.

CardiMo employs a vision for the employers need to have healthy and productive co-workers with a positive quality of life, both on the job and in the home. This is achieved by motivating employees to pulse based training, with distinct and measureable, individual goals. The company creates an incentive for the employees that motivates while CardiMo delivers exercise reports, which in turn becomes a tool that follows up on the outcome through heart monitors that each person uses. If you had to choose only one way of improving health and productivity, cardiovascular exercise is the most virtuous. Let us tell you more about the advantages and posibilities of increased commitment and health in your company!
